missingWrote a review on 26 Septbeautiful groundsloud guestsearly morning noise
The hotel has lovely grounds and plenty of parking.
Our stay was marred by the noise from guests above us during the early morning hours. It was frustrating trying to sleep when all we could hear were their loud conversations and footsteps. Thankfully, they checked out the next morning, and our second night was peaceful, but this shouldn't have been the case during our entire stay.

This historic hotel is perfect for family gatherings. With our four kids, we enjoyed exploring local antique shops and fishing villages along the coast. The location provided easy access to fun activities for all ages.
In my wife’s opinion, the hotel could offer more kid-friendly amenities.

The continental breakfast was particularly impressive, especially on Sunday, featuring a great selection that added a nice touch to our mornings. The room maintained a charming atmosphere and was impeccably clean, making it a cozy retreat. However, the air conditioning struggled to cool our room adequately, contrasting with the temperature of the adjacent room, which was noticeably cooler. Additionally, while the dining options were good, a wider variety would enhance the experience further.

missingWrote a review on 12 Mayspacious roomwelcoming staffsmall tvlimited elevator
The Three Chimneys Inn is full of Old New England charm. I loved my stay in the Lilac Room #19, which felt spacious with a comfortable King-size poster bed and a lovely Jacuzzi bathtub. The quirks of the place, like the creaky floors and mismatched decor, added to its unique appeal. The staff treated me well. they were welcoming and attentive to my needs. I appreciated the location too. It’s only a short drive to Portsmouth and Kittery for shopping and restaurants. However, I did notice the room had a very small TV hidden away, which could be an issue for those wanting to unwind with a show. Also, the lack of elevators can be challenging if you’re on the higher floors, especially with heavy luggage. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall atmosphere made the stay enjoyable.
